Booklets
Booklets are one of the best ways to present a lot of information in a clean, professional format—great for programs, catalogs, manuals, menus, pricing guides, and community handouts. Keller Printing offers booklet printing in Martinsville with options that fit both simple and more detailed projects.
Booklet Types
Saddle Stitch Booklets
Saddle stitch booklets are created by folding sheets in half and stapling along the spine. This option is ideal for smaller booklets like programs or catalogs with fewer pages.
Wire Bound Books
Wire bound books are not folded, which makes them a great option when you want pages to lay flatter and you need more flexibility with page counts.
Page Count Basics
Page counts can get confusing, so we keep it simple:
The cover is counted separately.
Saddle stitch booklets come in increments of 4 pages (because each folded sheet creates 4 pages).
Wire bound books come in increments of 2 pages (because one sheet equals 2 pages).
File Setup
For the best results, please send your booklet file as a 1-up PDF (single pages in reading order), with a 1/8″ bleed if applicable. This allows us to arrange pages properly for printing.
If your artwork wraps around the cover of a saddle stitch booklet, please send the cover artwork as a separate file.
Common Booklet Sizes
The most common booklet sizes are:
5.5″ x 8.5″
8.5″ x 11″
Other sizes are available for special uses.
